I've some experinced with cacti server operation on Centos 5 linux after 6 months running suddenly it's stop, I don't know maybe out of space, the log is too big, poller don't running anymore, and etc,

in order to get the best result maybe anyone in here can give me or ours the important points what must be done to get the cacti server running smoothly in years to come, like clear the unused cacti database on mysql, shrink dataabse, clear cache, poller, space (periodic)

thanks

kris

There is nothing to clear in the Cacti database, you might try rotating your Cacti log files (and your server log files while you are at it). Otherwise you really just need to check your server and see what is taking up all the space, if that is actually the issue at least.
